Arthur Abraham Fails To Make Weight

Chris Eubank Jr’s weekend challenger Arthur Abraham has failed to make the required 168 lbs limit. The German-Armenian was 1 pound 13 oz over. He now has two hours to drop the extra weight.

Should Abraham fail to make weight again, then the IBO super middleweight title won’t be on the line. Eubank Jr will retain automatically but the fight will still happen.

In addition, Abraham will be fined for not making weight. His team claimed that the ring was uneven but he was weighed again on even ground and he was still overweight.

The clock is ticking for Abraham since his deadline is 3:40.
