Adrien Broner Challenges McGregor’s Nemesis

It looks like Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor did open some sort of a Pandora’s box. UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is doing his best to land a fight against Anthony Joshua. And now another cross-sport fight is being talked about

Adrien Broner has issued a challenge to UFC star Nate Diaz, the man who choked out Conor McGregor last year. Although the welterweight boxer is set to fight Mikey Garcia on July 29th, he is still willing to fight Diaz on the undercard of Mayweather-McGregor which is on August 26th.

“Depending on the punishment I take (in) this fight… if I come out unmarked like I usually do, I’d be willing to fight on Floyd’s undercard against Nate Diaz. I’m just talking. But if we can make it happen, let’s do it,” said Broner

The boxer last fought in February against Adrian Granados and won via split decision. Diaz, on the other hand, has been laying low for quite some time now. After this victory against McGregor in March 2016, he fought the Irishman again in last August and lost via points. Diaz hasn’t seen any combat action since.

Is this a fight we really want to see or is one entertainment act enough?
