Carl Frampton Fights In November For The First Time As A Frank Warren Fighter

Carl Frampton is finally finding some balance in what has been a very unbalanced year for the 30 year old boxer.

Last week ‘The Jackal’ announced a deal with MTK Global and on Sunday promoter Frank Warren tweeted that Frampton has signed with him.

A date was announced at a press conference today.

Frampton will fight on November 18th in a homecoming fight in Belfast.

His opponent is yet to be announced.

An undercard championship fight was also announced.

Jamie Conlan (19-0, 11 KO’s), another Belfast born fighter, will get a crack at the IBF World super flyweight title when he challenges champion Jerwin Ancajas (27-1-1, 18 KO’s).

Also, Zolani Tete (25-3) will put his WBO World bantamweight title on the line against challenger and triple Olympian, Paddy Barnes (3-0).

For Frampton (23-1), this will he first fight since the loss to Leo Santa Cruz back in January. He’s then split up with trainer Shane McGuigan and manager Barry McGuigan of Cyclone Promotions.
