Conor McGregor Releases A Lengthy Statement About The Loss

The UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has posted a very emotional and honest statement on social media about his fight and loss against Floyd Mayweather.

The MMA champion looked decent in the early rounds against the greatest boxer of our era and won a couple. But around the sixth, McGregor started to fade away and Mayweather took over the fight in convincing fashion and ended it with a tenth round TKO victory.

McGregor was never close but at least he fought the best of the best.

Will he box ever again? After the fight, McGregor revealed what’s next.

The Irishman will return back to the UFC to defend his UFC lightweight title, most likely against Nate Diaz or Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Paulie Malignaggi has been very vocal about fighting McGregor in a boxing ring. The American suggested a boxing match for St. Patrick’s Day 2018 but the Irishman will most likely decline.
