The most anticipated rematch of the year is getting closer by the minute. Promoter Eddie Hearn has been touring in the U.S with Anthony Joshua and he has applied for a license to promote in Nevada.
But that’s not the biggest news.
Hearn has now officially revealed a date for the rematch in Las Vegas if Klitschko says yes and the promoter believes that the Ukrainian will most definitely accept the offer.
“I met with the MGM and met with the T-Mobile Arena. Vegas is the front-runner and November 11 is the date that is pencilled in. It will probably take a couple of weeks to get everything over the line, but I believe Klitschko will take this fight and believe Vegas will be the one,” said Hearn in an interview with Sky Sports.
Whilst in the U.S, Joshua has been spending some time at the Mayweather Boxing Gym and with Floyd himself.
