It was reported earlier today that rapper Ice Cube has dibs on T-Mobile Arena. Meaning he booked the Arena for his BIG3 basketball event before Floyd Mayweather Jr could for his fight against Conor McGregor.
The date, August 26h, officially belongs to Cube. But he is willing to give it away once the price is right.
“If they do what they are supposed to do and make us happy,” said Ice Cube while being a guest on Fox Sports Undisputed show.
He also confirmed that he is currently in talks with the organisers of the Mayweather-McGregor fight and he hopes an agreement can be made.
“We are talking about it, I think we are going to get there,” summarised Cube.
He knows he has a golden opportunity to make a lot of money here. Especially since it’s none other that the richest boxer and the richest MMA fighter knocking on his door. Expect an announcement for Ice Cube shortly…
