Frank Warren Reacts to Anthony Cacace’s Win over Jazza Dickens
“He’s a two-time world champion and it’s unbelievable what he’s done. All credit to him, and his team. He’s pulled himself back together, with great skills, and showed everybody what it’s all about,” Queensberry Promotions boss Warren said.
“We’re going to get bigger fights for him, here. This is his home. Ireland. This is where we’re going to make the fights happen.” said Frank Warren.
How Cacace Beat Dickens
Cacace outboxed Dickens to win the WBA super featherweight title on points in Dublin. Using his size and sharper timing, Cacace controlled range early and landed the cleaner shots. A strong fifth round and consistent work in the middle rounds built his lead, while Dickens rallied but struggled to overturn it. Judges scored it 115-113, 116-112 and 116-113 for Cacace after 12 tactical rounds.
