Controversial TikTok creator HSTikkyTokky, real name Harrison Sullivan, “would have been a massive star” in boxing had he dedicated himself to the crossover element of the sport.
That’s according to Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor, who, on the Fred Talks Fighting show on YouTube, talked at length about one of the focal subjects on Louis Theroux’s latest documentary titled Inside The Manosphere.
“The only thing I’m disappointed about with him is he’s not done what I think he could have done in the Misfits world,” said Taylor.
Inspired to make his documentary because he once asked his three sons what content they were consuming, and it was from Andrew Tate, the 55-year-old filmmaker told People recently HSTikkyTokky “is usually being outright offensive … when he’s streaming.”
He later told the publication: “That’s the climactic reveal of the film, I would argue; that in addition to being misogynistic, in addition to being grifters, in addition to being conspiracy theorists, many of them are also trafficking in outright antisemitic content.”
“[Manosphere creators] are preying on young men, cultivating insecurities.”
English social media personality HSTikkyTokky, 24, has competed in influencer boxing before when he fought reality TV contestant, George Fensom, and won by technical knockout in the first round, having dropped his opponent three times. After his win, HSTikkyTokky attracted more controversy for a post-fight altercation with a fan in the crowd. Security intervened when he tried to throw a chair.
“He started with that fight against [George] and he should have been on fight four or five by now,” Taylor said, lamenting that the creator continues to pave his way online, and not for Misfits.
“I think he’d have been a massive star by now and it would have accelerated his brand in such a huge way.”
