Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua Officially Signed, Turki Al-Sheikh confirms.

The fight that has been debated, negotiated, and longed for over more than a decade now appears to be finally on track for fruition.

The long anticipated showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is officially signed, according to confirmation from Turki Al-Sheikh, marking a pivotal moment for the heavyweight division and British boxing as a whole.

Our outlet previously reported days ago that negotiations had reached an advanced stage, with both sides working through the final details to secure a deal that, for years, seemed out of reach.

The final push came following Fury’s recent appearance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he returned to action with a unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov. A heated exchange afterward only intensified speculation, as key figures behind the scenes were eager to formalize the announcement.

While terms with Tyson Fury (35-2-1, 24 KOs) were quickly secured, Anthony Joshua (29-4, 27 KOs) required additional time to finalize remaining contractual details before giving full approval.

It was ultimately Turki Al-Sheikh who broke the news via social media with a direct message: “To my friends in Great Britain it’s happening. It’s signed.”

Shortly thereafter, The Ring Magazine reporter Mike Coppinger corroborated the development, noting that the bout is targeted for the third quarter of this year and is expected to stream on Netflix an indication of the sport’s continued evolution in global distribution.

Before that blockbuster clash, Joshua is set to take part in a July tune-up bout, as confirmed by promoter Eddie Hearn. An opponent has yet to be named, though it is anticipated to mirror the level of Fury’s comeback foe, serving as a final adjustment ahead of the most defining fight of his career.

Beyond the ropes, Joshua’s return carries added weight following personal tragedy in December while in Nigeria, where he lost two close friends in a car accident. His willingness to step back into the ring and into a rivalry of this magnitude underscores the significance of the moment.

Fury and Joshua, both multi time world champions, are not only pillars of a golden era in British boxing, but two paths that were always destined to collide. Now, with contracts signed and a target window in place, the sport inches closer to delivering one of its most demanded matchups. A generational showdown this time, with no turning back.
