Tyson Fury has fired back after Oleksandr Usyk expressed interest in a trilogy fight between the heavyweight rivals.
Fury and Usyk met inside the ring on two occasions. In their first episode in May 2024, in the back-and-forth fight, the Ukrainian secured a split decision victory.
After seven months, in their rematch, Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision, and talks for a third match have been ongoing.
Usyk recently appeared in a clip shared by Turki Alalshikh, in which the WBC heavyweight champion declared he would be ready to face Fury again in multiple locations around the world.
“Hi brother, I am ready, every time. I am ready,” Usyk said.
“Las Vegas, New York, Saudi Arabia anything. Come on! Greedy Belly [Fury] is my friend.”

Usyk’s comments immediately reignited speculation surrounding a potential third fight between the two heavyweight stars after their previous battles became some of the biggest events in modern boxing.
Fury responds to Usyk
Fury later confirmed that he remains interested in completing a trilogy with Usyk, though he asserted that his current focus is on Anthony Joshua.
“Greedy Belly is coming for a feast of rabbit pie, get up!” Fury said. “First, I will start with the chinless, bum, dosser, Anthony Joshua, and I will knock him out. Then, I am coming back for a rabbit pie.”
The ‘Gypsy King’ also continued referring to himself as the division’s biggest attraction.
“Greedy Belly is ready for some more rabbit pie,” Fury continued.
“There is only me, there is nobody else, I am the cash cow. Come on!”
Fury also argued that the biggest paydays in boxing still revolve around him rather than other heavyweight names.
“You want big paydays?” Fury said.
“It ain’t [against] an Agit Kabayel, it ain’t an Anthony Joshua, it ain’t a [Daniel] Dubois, it’s in ‘The Gypsy King’.”
Fury then listed several major cities where he believes the biggest fights can happen.
“London, New York, Las Vegas, let’s rock and roll, baby.”
Agit Kabayel remains mandatory challenger for Usyk
While talk surrounding Fury, Joshua, and Usyk continues dominating headlines, Agit Kabayel remains Usyk’s mandatory challenger.
Meanwhile, Usyk is set to defend his WBC heavyweight title against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
The undefeated German heavyweight has reportedly been promised a world title opportunity later this year.
Fury was on a long 16-month hiatus since his second defeat to Usyk and had declared retirement from the sport; however, the wait ended in April when he faced Arslanbek Makhmudov and secured a unanimous decision victory.
Meanwhile, Fury vs Joshua has already been signed for later this year, potentially setting up another massive chapter in the heavyweight division before any possible Usyk trilogy bout becomes reality.
