Anthony Crolla has identified a “very special talent” who he thinks will go on to be one of the superstars of world boxing in the coming years. Crolla himself made it to the very top. He won the WBA Lightweight world title from Darleys Perez in 2015, and defended it against the same man as […]
The on-going spat between two Hall of Famers promoter Frank Warren and former fighter Carl Froch has continued with Warren now telling Froch to “sue me.” The issue is whether or not Froch “ducked” a fight with unbeaten Welshman Joe Calzaghe back in the 2000s. It was a heavily touted super middleweight match-up that sadly […]
Joe Joyce doesn’t have too much time to feel sorry for fellow British heavyweight Anthony Joshua, though he does believe the former unified champion is “good for the sport.” Both big men have suffered defeats in their recent outings. Joyce came unstuck against Zhilei Zhang in April and has a chance for redemption at the […]
British heavyweight Dave Allen has sparred with both Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois and has made his prediction for the upcoming fight. Former two-weight world champion Shakur Stevenson watched his close friend Terence Crawford stop Errol Spence Jr this past weekend and was quick to call him “the best” in the immediate aftermath. Should Anthony Joshua handle business in his rematch with Dillian Whyte on August 12, it has long been suggested that he will go on to fight American puncher Deontay Wilder – and Adrian Broner has given his prediction should that be the case. Initially, the end of this year looked like a possible date for […]
Chinese heavyweight giant, Zhilei Zhang, is in camp for his rematch with Brit Joe Joyce later in the year, but has spared some time to brand Tyson Fury a “disgrace.” Following his first professional loss against Filip Hrgovic last summer, Zhang bounced back by becoming the first man to stop ‘Juggernaut’ Joyce back in April.
