Blue chip prospect Adam Azim was in a confident mood at the weigh in today for his fight this weekend against undefeated Nicaraguan, Santos Reyes.
Azim has stopped all but one of his seven opponents to date, only hearing the final bell on his professional debut all the way back in 2020.
And when speaking to Sky Sports just over 24 hours from fight night, he told fans to expect another early conclusion at the Wembley Arena tomorrow.
“The objective remains the same for every fight and it’s going to be the same on Saturday night.”
“I’m getting these spectacular knockouts, and Saturday night you guys are going to see another spectacular knockout.”
The most promising young fighter in Britain in the eyes of some, it’s hard to imagine there are many out there who would be brave enough to disagree with ‘The Assassin’s prediction.
When asked if he had a final message ahead of his eighth outing, Azim kept it short, sweet but sinister.
“Don’t blink!”
Saturday night will be Azim’s second consecutive headline appearance under the Boxxer banner, as the outfit look to build him into a pay per view star.
However, he is not the only top prospect who will be on display in London, with the likes of Viddal Riley and Caroline Dubois featuring on the undercard.
Popular cruiserweight Riley will take on the 7-2 Annes Taj as he looks to move to 8-0 and towards a shot at a domestic title before the end of the year.
Standout amateur Dubois is already growing a reputation as one of the hardest punching females in the sport, and will look to further cement this with another destructive performance against unheralded Tanzanian Feriche Mashaury.
