Anthony Fowler (8-0, 7 KO’s) will be back in the ring next month.
The super-welterweight will vie for his first title on a card in Sheffield.
Fowler, it has been revealed, will box on December 8 at the FlyDSA Arena, exclusively live on Sky Sports.
He will fight a foe to be confirmed for a belt to be confirmed, as part of the supporting cast to Kell Brook’s WBA welterweight title eliminator against Michael Zerafa.
The card will feature the Commonwealth Games gold medallist’s fellow Team GB 2016 Olympian Qais Ashfaq as well as WBA International and Commonwealth welterweight titlist Josh Kelly in against former WBA ‘regular’ world champion David Avanesyan.
David Allen and Gary O’Sullivan have both been pulled from the card, with the latter fighting the night before in Dublin, but Jono Carroll will take on Guillaume Frenois in an official final eliminator for Tevin Farmer’s IBF super-featherweight world title and there is action for Stefy Bull-managed duo Terri Harper and Anthony Tomlinson.
