Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller reignited an old feud at a press conference to announce their fights on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua will face Otto Wallin as the main event with ‘Big Baby’ Miller further down the card against Daniel Dubois, but those opponents didn’t stop the two rivals getting heated.
Their story first started back in 2019 when Miller squandered an opportunity to be one half of Joshua’s first headline slot in Madison Square Garden. Andy Ruiz Jr stepped in and shocked the world, Joshua prepared for the rematch – which he would win – and Miller was banned.
Given the bad blood and the brashness of the American, there was little doubt that he would steal the show at the kick-off press conference. After warning Dubois of the beating he would put on him in December, Miller took aim at Joshua.
“They can all kiss my black ass … We all know for a fact that AJ don’t want no smoke with Deontay. As much as I don’t like Deontay, I know he would put that motherf***er in the grave. So I’ll make it easy for you – either fight Deontay and go to the grave or fight me and go to the hospital.”
Joshua threatened to slap Miller for talking to him.
“Shut the f**k up. Miller don’t start with me. You know I’ll come over and slap you and I see you’ve brought your mum here, she needs her rent paid … You are not doing nothing to me. Watch your mouth, or I’ll slap it for you.”
You just knew that @AnthonyJoshua and @BigBabyMiller would get after it 🍿
