With 10 days to go until the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou showdown, the official promo video has been released, and features a surprise ending that could predict how the fight may turn out.
The two heavyweights go head-to-head in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday 8 March, with the event between the two heavy hitters dubbed as ‘Knockout Chaos.’
Out of Joshua’s 27 victories, 24 of those have come inside the distance, the most recent in December when he stopped Otto Wallin on the Day of Reckoning card.
The two-time world heavyweight champion holds stoppage victories over the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Dillian Whyte, Alexander Povetkin, Kubrat Pulev and Robert Helenius too.
Ngannou is also known for his explosive power, with 12 of his 17 MMA victories coming by knockout, while he also dropped Tyson Fury during his professional boxing debut in October.
A video recently posted on social media by the mixed martial artist turned boxer displayed that power too, where he destroyed a punch machine with a massive right hand.
The official trailer for the upcoming fight has now been shared by Saudi chief Turki Al-Alshikh and follows a Street Fighter theme, with Joshua and Ngannou brawling in various settings.
Surprisingly, the end of the trailer depicts each man landing punches at the same time and both getting knocked out, something the duo will be hoping does not happen when they meet next week.
