Anthony Joshua’s full exchange with Jarrell Miller has been released ahead of their respective fights this weekend.
The two rivals compete on the same card but not against each other. Joshua stars in a tricky fight in Swedish southpaw Otto Wallin, whilst ‘Big Baby’ Miller faces the toughest test of his career against hard-hitting Daniel Dubois.
There was little doubt that the two heavyweights fighting on the same event would see them clash beforehand, and that happened just as fight week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia kicked off.
A previous clip was posted of the exchange showing Miller question Joshua’s heart. Now, the full encounter has been released.
As Miller continued to call ‘AJ’ out for ducking and not being a real fighter, the two-time world champion turned the argument to standing in the heavyweight division, making it clear that his American rival is not on his level.
“I’m hosting you. Welcome to my show. Welcome to my show, you little bitch. You’re working for me. You’re working for me Saturday night. Don’t forget that. Humble yourself. I’m still your landlord.”
There’s an oven-ready rivalry there should promoters want to take advantage of it in the future, all stemming from an ill-fated fight in 2019 that was pulled due to Miller testing positive for banned substances.
Whilst their paths don’t look likely to cross anytime soon, the bad blood can’t be written off. Should both win this weekend, a future bout remains alive.
In the meantime, if Joshua beats Wallin he’s expected to quickly announce a fight against Deontay Wilder – again, if Wilder can get past Joseph Parker on the same card this Saturday.
