The highly-anticipated undisputed light-heavyweight title fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol takes place in Saudi Arabia in October, and now the full undercard for the event has been announced, with some surprise inclusions on the bill.
WBC, WBO and IBF champion Beterbiev takes on WBA title-holder Bivol, with the victor walking away with all of the spoils and finding themselves officially regarded as the best 175lb fighter on the planet.
The full card has now been revealed, with the co-main event seeing WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson taking on Joe Cordina.
Last time out Stevenson defended his title against Artem Harutyunyan, in the last fight on his Top Rank deal, and now heads to Riyadh to face Cordina, who is stepping up to 135lbs after losing his IBF super-featherweight title to Anthony Cacace.
Chris Eubank Jr also makes his long-awaited return, as he competes for the first time since September 2023 when he fights Kamil Szeremeta.
Eubank is coming off the back of avenging his defeat to Liam Smith, earning a dominant stoppage win in the rematch. Szeremeta is a former European champion and world title challenger that has shared the ring with the likes of Gennady Golovkin and Jaime Munguia in his career, and is unbeaten in his last six contests.
The heavyweight rematch between British champion Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke will also take place on the card, after the two men did battle back in March.
That fight at the O2 Arena ended in a split decision draw, after an entertaining battle that both men felt they had done enough to win.
IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia fights in Saudi Arabia for the third straight bout, going up against European and Commonwealth champion Jack Massey.
Opetaia defaeated Mairis Briedis by unanimous decision to win back his title after it became vacant, while Massey beat Isaac Chamberlain at Selhurst Park in his last contest.
Rounding up the card, unbeaten sensation Ben Whittaker meets Liam Cameron, WBC featherweight champion Skye Nicolson collides with Raven Chapman, and Mohammed Alakel faces Jesus Gonzalez.
It’s the first Riyadh Season card back in Saudi Arabia for a number of months, following the decision to take the cards international.
Terence Crawford headlined the event in the USA earlier this month when he defeated Israil Madrimov to win the WBA super-welterweight title, on a bill that also featured Andy Ruiz, Martin Bakole, Jared Anderson, Jose Valenzuela and Isaac Cruz.
Another international Riyadh Season card will then take place at Wembley Stadium next month, as Daniel Dubois defends the IBF heavyweight title against Anthony Joshua, with Liam Smith, Josh Kelly, Anthony Cacace, Josh Warrington, Hamzah Sheeraz, Joshua Buatsi and more all on the card.
