The reigning Lineal RING magazine world heavyweight champion, Tyson ‘Too Fast’ Fury has offered his retort to Tony Bellew’s recent comments.
Bellew yesterday had his highly anticipated rematch with David Haye rescheduled for 05.05.2018. Bellew shared that his focus is solely on David Haye now, but did share he plans to tackle Fury as well in 2018.
The back and forth between the fighters kicked off the day Haye pulled out of the original December 17th date for the rematch.
Bellew responded on Soccer AM that weekend and referred to Tyson Fury as former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ contestant, Stavros Flatley.
Ever since then, the pair of them has engaged in a fluid back and forth on social media.

Speaking yesterday, following reaching a conclusion to finding the David Haye rematch. Bellew shared on his twitter page a message which read:
“I’m pleased to get a new date in the diary and I look forward to giving boxing fans a great night on May 5. My mind is still very much (in) this fight and I will punish him,” Bellew explained.
“I now have a very clear plan for 2018 and that is to knock out David Haye and then knock out Tyson ‘Stavros Flatley’ Fury and end both their careers.”

Fury has since offered his latest response to Bellew’s latest statement. Fury believes Bellew and those around him are simply using his name for promotional purposes while having no intention to actually fight him.
“You’ve got some bums using my name to boost their name,” Fury said. “You’ve got Eddie Hearn supporting them.”
“They are not good enough to tie my shoelaces. They’re not good enough to hold my jock strap.” Fury shared, on a final note.
