Tyson Fury made an appearance on Sky’s television show, Soccer PM on Saturday night. Tyson Fury touched on a number of topics including Anthony Joshua, 2018 and Tony Bellew.
During the show, Tony Bellew participated in a live on-air television crossover with ‘The Gypsy King’ during the show and both combatants were very vocal in their scathing assessments of one another. Read on to watch the back and forth.
“A little natter, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to hear us natter,” Bellew began.
“I’m pretty sure, you want to see us knock ten tonnes out of each other. I say ten tonnes, but he’s got twenty tonnes on him” Bellew added.
Fury then, feeling insulted then felt the need to offer his response to ‘The Bomber’s outlandish comments.
“I might have twenty tonnes on me, but you are only a mini-digger. You’ll need a Mack (Truck) to move me.”
Bellew then jokingly retorted “I’d need a JCB truck to deal with the size of your ass son. You just get past your hearing, I’ll be good to go.”
Bellew is currently scheduled to take on Haye on May 5th as they seek a conclusive end to their ongoing saga. On the topic of a potential hiccup to a fight with Fury reaching fruition, if he is defeated by Haye.
Bellew simply said, “I will get past the Haye-faker, once again like I did last time. Then I’m good to meet you head on, big fella.”
“No problem about that, I will hit that desperate, down-looking chin so hard you won’t get up like you did with Steve Cunningham.”
Fury then responded, “Hey I’ll have you know, I’m a good looking fella. ‘The Gypsy King’ then added “They may call you the bomber, unless you have an atomic bomb. The furious one will annihilate you son.”
Bellew then responded, “I know everyone is petrified of you, but I am not son, I am not! Everyone is running from you, they are scared of you. I’m going to run straight at you.”

Fury then responded, “Might have to meet up tomorrow Tony.”
“Mate listen, we’ve both got a few obstacles to overcome, I’ve got to get rid of the other fella once again. Tyson has a few issues going on, but I’m pretty sure once we get through them;” Bellew added, on the topic of whether the Fury fight will actually come off.
Bellew was quick to pay homage to his potential future adversary, however. “When it is all said and done, I’ve got a lot of respect for Tyson Fury.”
“The man can ultimately fight very, very well. Everyone talks about me facing big heavyweights. The reason I want to face him is because he is not the biggest one-punch hitter, he comes with a very different set of skills, very awkward, very skilful and very classy. But he is a big man”
“I believe I can overcome them (advantages). Ultimately if he doesn’t come dressed as Batman, I’m in with a chance.” Bellew jokingly concluded, in reference to the infamous time Fury came dressed as Batman for a press conference in the lead-up to his unified world heavyweight title opportunity against Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
