Conor Benn has responded to clips of Chris Eubank Jr tucking into a 15-piece KFC bucket of chicken weeks out from their legacy defining fight at the 02 in October.
Eubank, who will have to make a career low weight of 157lbs for the fight, was seen chowing down on the takeaway at the KSI vs Swarmz show, where he was working as part of the DAZN broadcast team.

Speaking to IFL TV, Benn, however, seemed unphased by Jr’s actions and maintained his focus had been purely on his own preparation in the lead up to the fight.
“It’s all for show isn’t it. Its good promotion, fair play to him.”
“I hope he got paid from it – he needs to start counting his pennies.”
“It makes no difference to me because I’ll still prepare the same. He can do what he wants, if that’s his way of beating me or playing mental games then let him do that.”
“To me it screams excuses.”
The fight between Benn and Eubank Jr will take place on October 8th – almost 29 years to the day since their fathers’ second meeting.
And Conor’s father Nigel, also speaking to IFL, said ‘KFC-gate’ showed him similarities between Chris Jr and his father.
“He’s a lot like his old man isn’t he? He’s got to do something different. If he feels he can come in at 60% or whatever then more fool him.”
“To be honest with you, we aren’t thinking about him.”
With the historic clash just a month away, one would expect that the mind games between the two camps are not over just yet.
