Billy Joe Saunders will return to the ring on September 16th and he will be defending his WBO world middleweight title against Willie Monroe Jr.

Monroe (21-2) is on a two-fight winning streak after getting stopped by Gennady Golovkin back in 2015. The American last fought Gabriel Rosado to a unanimous decision victory.
Meanwhile, Saunders (24-0) hasn’t fought since December of last year when he retained his belt against Artur Akavov via unanimous decision.
