Billy Joe Saunders managed to impress pretty much everybody with his perfect performance against David Lemieux in Montreal this past weekend.
The WBO World middleweight champion was never in trouble against the challenger and even toyed with him at times.
Here’s what other famous boxing names such as fighters and promoters have commented on the Billy Joe Show.
Tyson Fury
After a great night at the boxing with @bjsaunders_ showing his master class boxing abilities, I look forward to returning home to my family & enjoying Christmas š god bless & see you all in 2018. #themacisback šš»

Kell Brook
“[Lemieux] Didn’t hit him with one shot. He made him look silly. He made a statement. I didn’t expect him to be that dominant but it surprised me. I know how good he is in the gym. Lemieux is a top level fighter but he was hitting fresh air. [Saunders] used the ring very well and stood him on his head. After round two Lemieux ran out of ideas.
“Billy Joe did what he wanted when he wanted,” said Brook soon after the fight in an interview with IFL.tv
Frank Warren
What a performance last night by @bjsaunders_ It was on par with Calzaghe v Lacy, you can be very proud of yourself Bill! A fantastic end to a great year for our stable of fighters. Onwards and upwards in 2018. FW

Always believed Lemieux never had more than a puncher's chance here. Not surprised. #SaundersLemeuix

After the fight, Lemieux implied that Saunders ‘was on the run’ and DiBella was not happy about the Canadian’s comments.
“He was on the run. He was running away from the first round until the end,” said Lemieux in his post-fight interview with Max Kellerman.
Thought that was a pretty delusional, graceless interview by Lemieux after the fight. No, dude, @bjsaunders_ didn't run, he gave you a boxing lesson AND a beating. SMH! #LemieuxSaunders
