Woman’s boxing sensation Cecilia Braekhus (31-0 8 KO’s ) is set to be back in action on October 21st at the Oslofjord convention centre in Stokke , Norway against an unnamed opponent.
The undefeated world champion Is coming off the back of a unanimous points victory against previously unbeaten 147lb debutant Erica Farias in her home town of Bergen earlier this year.
After the Fight the former 140lb world champion from Argentina made her desire clear of rematching Braekus.
Since turning professional in 2007 former kick boxer Braekhus has based herself out of Berlin Germany and fought under the guidance of big time German promoter Wilfried Sauerland who made his plans for champ clear from the very start. Stating his desire to not only turn Braekhus into a world champion but to help her create history and make her the first ever boxing world champion hailing from Norway.
Since 2007 Cecilia “the First Lady” Braekus has become the leading force in woman’s boxing and is world renowned as the number one pound for pound woman’s boxer on the planet .
She currently holds the WBC, WBO, IBO, IBF and WBA welterweight titles collectively and is the only fighter since Bernard Hopkins and Jermaine Taylor (in 2005) to hold all the belts from the major governing bodies simultaneously.
Her October 21st fight will be her 4 fight on Norwegian soil since 2014 after the Norwegian government lifted a 33 year boxing ban dating back to 1981 the year the champ was born .
