Recently Robert Smith, Chairman of the board, commented to Sky Sports that they are willing to let Fury fight in 2018 if he shows signs of mental and physical improvement.
“We want Tyson Fury to come back fit and healthy, in the right circumstances. At present time, he has a few things going on, so he needs those things resolved. Once they’re resolved and he is a position to do so, we want to make sure he’s healthy. There a lot of stories out there about his health, physically and mentally, but the most important thing is him. Boxing comes second But if we are able to consider him boxing again, we want that to happen,” said Smith in October.

The board released a statement today regarding Fury’s license.
“The British Boxing Board of Control acknowledges United Kingdom Anti-Doping’s decision in relation to Tyson and Hughie Fury.
“Hughie Fury has no outstanding matters with the British Boxing Board of Control at this time,” said the statement.
The board also confirmed that they will review Fury’s license next year.
“Tyson Fury’s boxing license suspension will be considered by the Stewards of the Board in January.”
Recent videos on social media of Fury training do indicate that the former heavyweight champion of the world is seriously getting himself back into shape.
