# Bryan And Dubois Look To Make A Name For Themselves

Trevor Bryan and [Daniel Dubois](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/dubois-ill-beat-trevor-bryan-and-knock-him-out/) came face-to-face yesterday before their fight on Saturday and the American had plenty to say.

[BT Sport will show](https://www.bt.com/sport/boxing/features/trevor-bryan-vs-daniel-dubois-how-to-watch-bt-sport) the WBA Heavyweight Regular title fight live from Miami as Dubois, the mandatory challenger, looks to [complete an act of ‘devastation’ that he has spoke about](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/daniel-dubois-to-devastate-bryan/) in the build-up.

Don King gleefully looked on as the two men stood across from one another with [Bryan](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/bryan-vows-to-be-a-nightmare-for-dubois/) making sure the normally placid Dubois could barely get a word in. King, now 90-years-old, dipped into his old black book of phrases to drum up the intensity.

> “The British are coming; the British are coming! I read in a column that the eloquent and distinguished Dubois said ‘I’m gonna devastate Trevor Bryan for making me wait so long’.”

Since [the loss to Joe Joyce](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/dubois-ive-improved-i-want-to-rematch-joyce/) in 2020 Dubois has teamed up with highly respected trainer Shane McGuigan. From there ‘Dynamite’ has won two from two and a third would place him firmly in contention for a shot at the winner of [Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua 2](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/new-dates-for-usyk-joshua-rematch/) in August. Dubois said:

> “I am ready to rumble,”
>
> “I am out here to make myself, my family, and my country proud. This is what I’ve been waiting for, and I can’t wait. I am going to go through Trevor and take that belt back with me on the plane.”

When Bryan took to the podium to speak the 32-year-old said that he is here to stay as he looks to carve a name for himself in the bigger divisional picture.

> “I’ve been here for a long time and I’m gonna be here for a long time. I want to thank you guys for coming over the pond to get this ass-whipping.”
>
> “I am the WBA heavyweight champion and I’m here to stay. This fight is called freedom and peace, but before you have freedom and peace you gotta have war.”
>
> “That is what we’re gonna have on June 11. This guy thinks I’m nothing, I’m 22-0 and he’s just gonna walk through me, right? That’s not what’s gonna happen. I’m telling you right now.”
>
> “I’m Trevor Bryan, the Dream, and I’m gonna be this guy’s nightmare.”
