This weekend at London’s O2 Arena Joshua Buatsi (15-0, 13 KOs) faces the sternest test yet of his credentials.
The Rio 2016 Olympic Bronze Medallist faces fellow South Londoner Craig ‘Spider’ Richards (17-2-1, 10 KOs) in a WBA world light heavyweight title eliminator.
Richards boxed the champion Dmitry Bivol one year ago. Despite losing on points a win against Buatsi would take him closer to a rematch against the recent conqueror of Canelo Alvarez
The undercard also features unified female super-lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron, ‘The Savage’ Alen Babic, Ellie Scotney, Robbie Davies Jr and prospects Shiloh Defreitas, John Hedges, Cyrus Pattison and Cheavon Clarke.
