Chris Eubank Jr Taunts Conor Benn Over British Board Decision: “You Lost Your License Again”

Though no action is yet scheduled for the ring, there is plenty of verbal back and forth between Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr.

As soon as a potential fight date of February 3 at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was announced for this British grudge match, Eubank Jr jumped on socials to issue a three-word warning to his potential opponent.

He is coming off the back of an impressive knockout of Liam Smith having reversed the result of the pair’s first match, though Smith has admitted he would love to go a third time.

The trilogy doesn’t seem likely, with all the talk back on the previously-postponed Benn fight.

Since the initial February rumours last week, nothing more has been announced and so Benn has taken to X to accuse Eubank of not signing the fight.

“You lost you’re pen again Chris Eubank Jr”

In response to this, Eubank mocked Benn’s grammar and referenced the fact that he still does not have a license to fight in the UK, having recently been refused one by the British Boxing Board of Control who are not satisfied that his on going drug test tribulations are fully resolved.

“You lost ‘your’ license again.”

Benn then responded once more in a typically forthright fashion.

“You’ll lose “your” f***ing head when I take it clean off YOUR neck you coward!”

Whether or not this fight ever happens really feels like anyone’s guess right now, but promoter Eddie Hearn has said Benn will fight on February 3 regardless.
