Chris Eubank Jr is expected to return to the ring over the next few months and a huge career move has now been revealed ahead of his next fight.
Eubank has spent the last number of years of his career working with Kalle and Nisse Sauerland, beginning when he competed in the World Boxing Super Series.
He defeated Avni Yildirim in the opening round of that tournament, before coming unstuck in the semi-finals against George Groves, losing the fight by unanimous decision.
The middleweight star then went on an eight fight winning streak, picking up wins over the likes of James DeGale, Matt Korobov and Liam Williams during that time, before suffering the first stoppage loss of his career against Liam Smith in January 2023.
Eubank gained revenge with a knockout win of his own last September, and has since been linked to a number of opponents since, including rival Conor Benn, former welterweight champion Kell Brook, and even pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford.
It seems that Eubank will be plotting his next move without his long-time rival though, after a post on social media from the Sauerland Bros revealed their time working together has come to an end.
“It’s been an emotional ride! Wishing you all the best for the future Chris and Nova Sports!”
Details on when Eubank will next step into the ring are expected soon, but which promoter the 34-year-old will be fighting under remains up in the air for now.
