The upcoming all British clash between Chris Eubank Jr will be available to watch on DAZN in various international territories, it was announced today.
The event will be shown exclusively in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office, but the streaming app confirmed that customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and the USA would be able to view the fight on their platform as part of their standard subscription.
DAZN’s North America CEO, Joe Markowski, was quick to express his excitement at securing the international rights for the fight, describing it as a “blockbuster.”
“DAZN are always looking to deliver the best boxing schedule to our subscribers and we are proud to be showing this huge fight between two of Britain’s finest.
We are no strangers to Liam and Chris and know we have a potential blockbuster on our hands. The news comes after DAZN today reported losses of over $2 billion in 2021, bringing the company’s total losses for the last year financial years to almost $5 billion.
The fight between Eubank Jr and Smith takes place at the Manchester Arena on January 21st, and is available to fans in the United Kingdom via Sky Sports pay per view.
