Conor Benn has weighed in with a prediction for the hotly anticipated clash between KSI and Tommy Fury – and surprisingly admitted he is struggling to split the pair.
KSI, real name JJ Olatunji, and Fury will lock horns at the Manchester Arena on October 14, in what is expected to be one of the biggest commercial boxing offerings to take place in the UK this year.
Though Fury is a betting favourite for the fight, there are some online who seem to be giving KSI a chance in the bout.
And Benn appears to be one of them, and claimed he was only slightly favouring Fury in a recent interview with SecondsOut.
“It’s a hard fight for both, I think. It’s a 50-50 fight! I’m not picking, I’m sitting on the fence because I like Tommy and I like KSI.”
“You’d think Tommy would win, you’d think. So I’ll maybe go 55 Tommy, 45 KSI.”
Fury gatecrashed the influencer boxing seen in February this year, when he handed KSI’s nemesis Jake Paul the first loss of his professional boxing career in Saudi Arabia.
It appears ‘TNT’ is enjoying life in the space and seems to have no real desire to return to the traditional code should he defeat KSI next month, having already called for a fight with Jake’s brother Logan to be next.
Logan is fighting on the same card against MMA fighter Dillon Danis, so the stars could align for a fight against Fury if both men emerge victorious in Manchester next month.
