# Watch: Dead Boxer’s Opponent Opens Up – “I knew In The Ring”

Former UFC fighter and professional boxer Tim Hague lost his life this past weekend after receiving a fatal blow from his opponent Adam Braidwood. The 34-year old Hague was later announced brain dead and passed away on Sunday.

Braidwood has now released a very emotional video on Twitter where he opens up about the fight.

> Rip brother you will live in my heart forever. I will fight for us both now, I know that's what you would have wanted. [pic.twitter.com/H682h6rwJu](https://t.co/H682h6rwJu)

Braidwood says that he immediately knew that Hague was not going to make it after he knocked him out.

“I knew, man. I knew in the ring. I just saw the way he fell. I waited on my knees. I watched him. I carried him to the corner and I could see in his face.”
