Derek Chisora has sensationally changed his prediction for the upcoming clash in Saudi Arabia between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.
A three time opponent of Tommy’s famous brother Tyson, Chisora had originally told ‘The Gypsy King’ that his younger sibling was going to get stopped by Paul.
However, in a recent interview with Mirror Fighting, Chisora revealed he now believes ‘TNT’ will in fact stop the boastful YouTuber this weekend at the Diriyah Arena.
“Jake right now looks to be the favourite. So all the odds are favouring Jake and everything, all the fans are saying ‘Jake, Jake, Jake’. But I’ve got a feeling that Jake might get stopped by Tommy but if that happens then – oh wow”
“But if it goes the other way around, then Jesus Christ it’s not great. Everybody’s saying ‘Jake, Jake, Jake’ and I think what’s happening right now is that Jake’s confidence is so high up that he’s brushing off Tommy easy.”
Former world title challenger Chisora has been out in Saudi Arabia to help with the promotion of the fight, and even hosted the opening press conference
This Sunday is the third time Paul and Fury have been scheduled to fight, with Fury pulling out on both occasions before – the first due to injury and then after being refused entry into the United States.
Many feel the pressure going into the fight lays firmly on the shoulders of the young Brit, with even his father John and brother Tyson publicly imploring him to “stay in Saudi Arabia” should he fail to dispatch of ‘The Problem Child.’
The fight has landed on pay per view on BT Sport Box Office in the UK, with the price set at £19.95. US fans can watch via ESPN+ for $49.99.
