Derek Chisora has fought and won once this year – a unanimous decision over Gerald Washington – and is keen for his net bout to be a little more high-profile.
The fan-favourite from Finchley is now 47 fights deep into a professional campaign that kicked off in 2007, but has dismissed any suggestion of retirement up until now, even after a particularly bruising loss to Tyson Fury last December.
Instead, ‘WAR’ Chisora is looking for more big nights under the lights, and he’s made it clear that new heavyweight in-demand, Francis Ngannou, is at the top of his wish-list.

Chisora tagged Turki Alalshikh – the man behind Ngannou’s professional boxing debut against Fury just last month.
The Cameroon-born 37-year-old out-performed all expectations, knocking the WBC World Champion down in the third round and taking him the distance only to lose via a split-decision.
Since the fight, Ngannou has complained about bias from the officials but has found himself with plenty of options even despite the first fight on his record being a defeat.
Two former champions in Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder have expressed an interest for the former UFC star, and there are whisperings that the promotion in Saudi Arabia would like him to fight on December 23.
Chisora – who has a good relationship with boxing’s businessmen in the country – will no doubt be throwing his hat in the ring.
The 39-year-old Brit may just be able to add more evidence to the debate about whether Ngannou is a legitimate world title contender or if Tyson Fury was ill-prepared and extremely off-form.
