Devin Haney Names His Next Three Opponents After Ryan Garcia

Devin Haney is fighting Ryan Garcia next but that hasn’t stopped him naming three opponents who he would like to fight after that.

Haney is one of the brightest stars in boxing. He captured all four belts in the lightweight division to become an undisputed champion in that division and then moved up to super-lightweight to take on Regis Prograis.

He again came through that one with flying colours to pick up a belt in a second division at the first time of asking. Now he is engaged in a heated press tour for his next fight with Garcia, the young star who lost to Gervonta Davis when he has stepped up to world level.

There has been plenty of verbal sparring in the lead-up but now Haney has spoken to DAZN about who he wants next.

“I would say Teo[fimo Lopez]. I would say Mario Barrios, I like him at 147. F*** man, let me see.”

Another champion’s name, Gervonta Davis, was then suggested and Haney agreed.

“‘Tank’ next for sure.”

He was asked if he would be able to realistically get Davis in the ring at 140lbs if he dominates Garcia the way he thinks he will.

“I don’t know, my main focus is Ryan, getting through him.”

He was finally asked if he could still go down to 135 for Davis.

“Absolutely not. I’m a 165 pounder walking around now man.”

Any of those three fights would represent good challenges for Haney, who thinks Garcia is going to quit when they finally face off in the ring.
