The fractious build-up to the much-anticipated battle between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney has continued as the pair faced off at the start of fight week.
This super lightweight world title contest has already generated plenty of talk as the two men have continually engaged in a heated exchange of words and social media posts.
Garcia has been keen to unsettle Haney for weeks with plenty of talk about his religion, his boxing goals, the price of tickets for the event, the venue for it, and plenty more.
The 12-round contest plays out at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday and provides Garcia with a chance to become a world champion for the first time.
For Haney, it is a maiden defence of the belt he won from Regis Prograis having stepped up to the new weight for the first time after clearing out all the belts in the lightweight division to become undisputed.
The two came face to face on a rooftop this week to kick off fight week and after an intense face off, Haney shoved Garcia and has since posted footage of it on social media. The video on X came with a few choice words.

There is not long to go now until the pair can settle their differences once and for all in the ring although Garcia has been offered a side-bet.
