Devin Haney Slams Two Rivals For Being ‘Pussies’: “Don’t Ever Mention My Name”

After a stellar year, Devin Haney is not too impressed with his superstar rivals.

Haney is one of the topboxers on the planet right now, and often discussed as a future if not current pound-for-pound king.

Though often compared to Floyd Mayweather because of how quickly he has risen up through the ranks, his father Bill Haney thinks his son has already surpassed Mayweather’s early achievements.

And he has a strong case – Haney is now a two-weight world champion having recently and relatively easily brushed aside the challenge of Regis Prograis to lift the WBC super lightweight title in December last year.

That comes on top of him already having achieved the honour of being undisputed world champion at lightweight. He has beaten the likes of Jorge Linares, George Kambosos Jr twice and Vasily Lomachenko on his way to the top in the last two years alone.

Now he has taken aim at one of his opponents. Speaking on X, he posted a strong message for Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis in response to Davis’ claims that all the other boxers ‘wan be like me.’

“All this b*tch do is talk. Ion ever wanna b a p***y like u.”

Davis hasn’t responded directly, busy outside of the sport buying up housing blocks in Baltimore in order to uplift his old community.

As for Haney, he was recently in talks with Ryan Garcia for his first WBC 140 defence, but the latter decided publicly that he would pursue another route in WBA Champion Rolando Romero.

It once again led the 25-year-old champion to brand Garcia a ‘pussy.’

He may now be faced with mandatory challenger Sandor Martin rather than the more lucrative Garcia fight.
