The WBC Interim heavyweight belt holder finally broke his silence earlier in the week tweeting, ‘I’m ready. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd of April’.
Yesterday, during the media conference call ahead of the next week’s clash at Wembley Stadium, Whyte revealed his reasons for not getting involved in the build-up to his first world title fight.
“It’s not the Tyson Fury show,” said Whyte.
“It’s not just the Tyson Fury show, it’s the Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte show so some things need to be done correctly.
“I don’t dance to nobody’s tune, I’m a warrior, we can dance together but it can’t be one-way traffic.”
Next week will finally see both fighters go head-to-head before facing one another at Wembley.
