As Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr’s undisputed welterweight fight nears, final predictions for the well-matched clash are coming in.
The two 147lbs champions – Spence the WBA, WBC and IBF, Crawford the WBO – will meet on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to settle, in the eyes of many fans, the debate of the best fighter in the world.
Undefeated light-heavyweight champion, Bivol, took to Twitter to give his verdict on the fight, and can’t see past ‘Bud’ Crawford getting the win.
“I would say Crawford is the favourite because of his speed, movement, and reflexes. Spence is the bigger guy in the ring and also has great ring IQ but in my opinion Crawford is the most complete fighter of all right now.”

Much has been made of the size in the build-up, with Spence being a career-long welterweight whilst Crawford has had success in two lower divisions before joining these ranks.
Both champions favour a knockout over going the distance, with a combined 52 in 67 bouts, and have shared opponents in Kell Brook and Shawn Porter for fans to draw comparisons.
Crawford enters the ring a slight favourite, but there are many experts and pundits backing Spence.
All of this paints a picture of one of the most intriguing contests in recent memory. The winner will be four-belt champion and recognised as the best welterweight of a generation, but a two-way rematch clause means fans may see it again relatively soon.
UK fans can watch the action on TNT Sports Box Office, whilst those in the US will tune in via Showtime PPV.
