After his win against Trevor Bryan at the weekend Daniel Dubois says he is ready for big fights.
The dominating performance in Miami ended after four rounds with the 24-year-old landing a left hook to end the meek challenge of his American opponent. Back in the UK with his WBA ‘Regular’ Heavyweight belt Dubois travelled to the talkSPORT studio and was asked about facing the winner of Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
“Oh yeah, I am ready for the winner, line them up!” Dubois answered. “I am waiting for this moment, I would prefer it to be Joshua, but whoever it is, it is the big league.”
“I want to get a few more fights under my belt, with that belt, and defend it to really make my mark and leave a legacy as a champion.”
His promoter Frank Warren has already been asked about a potential fight between Dubois and Dillian Whyte. The subject was once again brought up during the talkSPORT interview.
“That’s the fight. This is all business, there is no disrespect to anyone, but I am coming to clean up and take out whoever is in my way.”
