Jarrell Miller has lashed out at promoter Eddie Hearn, labelling him a “hypocrite” in a recent interview.
Miller was due to face Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden back in 2018, however tested positive for numerous banned substances and was pulled from the contest.
Joshua would go on to face Andy Ruiz Jr instead and the rest, as the say is history.
Hearn has said in numerous interviews following the Miller incident that he would never work with the American again, which led to ‘Big Baby’s comments whilst speaking to IFL TV.
“When people’s a** hurt, they say things and they get emotional. Eddie says a lot of things when he gets emotional, but he needs to be a bigger man and pick up the pieces.”
“He knows what he’s done. He knows who’s hands he’s washed and who’s knuckles he’s had to polish over the years to get certain fighters fights.”
“I like DIilian Whyte, but his situation. Benn, Molina, Povetkin, Ortiz, Canelo – I could go on and on! So this guy is the biggest hypocrite.”
“So I’m a black man from America who talks a lot of smack and backs it up, that’s why you’re coming for me? I’ve done a lot less than these guys have got in trouble for.”
“But at this point, who gives a f***? I’m back, and I’m ready to attack!”
Following three and a half years out of the ring, Miller has been on the comeback trail since last summer and secured a sixth round stoppage win in Dubai last night over former WBA regular champion Lucas Browne.
The 34 year old has called for a fight with the current holder of that title Daniel Dubois, as well as another chance at a money spinning fight with ‘AJ.’
