# Eddie Hearn Says Conor Benn Has ‘Lost The Plot’

Eddie Hearn has spoken out frankly about Conor Benn’s deeply fractured relationship with the British Boxing Board of Control as a result of the ongoing case surrounding his failed drugs tests last year.

[Benn currently does not hold a BBBofC license](https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/conor-benn-licence-stripped-drugs-test-20221026), and said in a recent interview with Piers Morgan that he had no plans of attempting to rectify that any time soon.

Speaking to [iFL TV,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oFRoMG3pQM&t=888s) Hearn admitted his fighter had “lost the plot” with the board, but that he would try and bring Benn and the organisation together to try and find a solution so that he could fight in the UK again.

> “Right now, I don’t believe Conor Benn would get a fair hearing from the British Boxing Board of Control. I’ve heard their comments and I’ve seen the public uproar.”
>
> “Conor Benn’s lost the plot, he wants to sue the board, he’s been hit with these fines which are not in relation to the results of the test, and I just can’t see a balanced approach from either.”
>
> “I will be making an effort to get both parties to sit down and go through the process so he can fight in the UK – but his next fight won’t be.”

Benn’s comeback fight is expected to land in either the United States or the Middle East, with June 3rd being touted as a potential date.

[Retired Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao and his team have been public in their desire for a fight with Benn](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/manny-pacquiao-conor-benn-condition/), despite the fact the former eight weight world champion is now 44 and has not boxed in close to two years.

Kell Brook and [Chris Eubank Jr are also said to be in contention](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/eddie-hearn-conor-benn-who-they-want/) to land a money spinning bout with ‘The Destroyer.’
