# Eddie Hearn Gives Latest On Fury-Chisora 3: “He’s Had An Offer From The Fury Camp”

Eddie Hearn has issued an update regarding a potential third fight between Derek Chisora and Tyson Fury.

Chisora, 38 was offered a third opportunity to beat the current lineal heavyweight champion, with The Independent recently reporting that a trilogy clash could take place as a defence of ‘The Gypsy King’s’ WBC world title in the sport’s premier division.

Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) got the better of Chisora on two occasions in 2011 and 2014, outclassing his then-rival each time, before going on to claim the unified world championships with a seismic victory against Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015.

David Ghansa of 258 MGT, who manage Chisora, recently said:

> “Tyson’s team have indeed reached out to us about a potential fight towards the end of the year.
>
> “We have held initial discussions with more talks to be scheduled in due course.”

Fury was most recently in action in April when he [retained his world title with a sixth-round stoppage of number one contender Dillian Whyte](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/fury-retains-tyson-topples-whyte-with-brutal-8th-round-uppercut/) at Wembley Stadium in London.

In the aftermath, the 33-year-old, who has had a public fallout with former pal Chisora, claimed he was retiring from the sport and insisted that a pot of $500million and a fight with Oleksandr Usyk, the WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO champion, would be the only thing to tempt him to lace up the gloves again – unless a fight against Anthony Joshua at Wembley materialises.

Ghansa added:

> “It would be a massive fight for the UK if we can make it happen and a fight that we have seen sells very well in the past.
>
> “I think that fight sells out a stadium in a pre-Christmas cracker.”

[Chisora won last time out, outpointing Kubrat Pulev](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/chisora-calls-out-wilder-after-pulev-win/) of Bulgaria in a rematch of their 2016 clash at the O2 Arena in London last month.

But the aforementioned Hearn, who promotes Chisora, doesn’t believe a third fight with Fury is right for ‘Del Boy’ (33-12, 23 KOs).

When speaking to [Boxing Social](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzMh4M49s3I), Hearn said:

> “Derek had an offer from the Tyson Fury camp, it wasn’t enough money and I’m not sure we’re going to see that fight.
>
> “It’s good to see Tyson keeping his options open.”

Chisora has admitted he is looking for one or two big fights before calling it a day, but it looks unlikely at this stage that it will be Fury in the opposite corner when Finchley man Chisora ring walks for war next time out.
