Errol Spence Jr responds to Kell Brook claiming he would destroy him at 154 lbs – “Next Time I’ll Break Both of Your Eyes!”

Kell Brook finally has some zip back in his step after battling some dark times following suffering back-to-back defeats to undefeated middleweight kingpin, Gennady Golovkin and then surrendering his IBF world welterweight title to Errol Spence Jr shortly after.

However, ‘The Special One’ returned to winning ways against former sparring partner, Sergey Rabchenko this past weekend. Brook looked sharp and pinpoint with his attack and overcame the challenge he posed inside of two rounds.

Kell Brook and Eddie Hearn have both been very vocal about talking up a potential rematch against Errol Spence Jr at their new weight of 154 lbs.

Spence has already said he will take on Brook again, if the Sheffield slickster can win another world title at the weight first to make it worth his while.

Kell Brook caught up with Sky Sports and said he will ‘destroy’ Spence at his new weight.

“He can leave his world title, without losing it, and come up to 154lbs or a catchweight.”

“I will beat Errol Spence Jr. At this new weight, I will destroy him. He should be looking forward but he’s looking behind because he’s not happy with how he got the world title.”

“I was beating him, then I couldn’t see. The new weight is a big difference. In the summertime, I will fight him at Bramall Lane. Let’s do it again. It will be revenge, it won’t be a repeat,” Brook told Sky Sports.

Spence upon hearing those comments took to social media to issue the following response: You got to get a title first mate! next time I’ll break both your eyes – keep talkin,” Spence stated.

Kell then retorted, “I ain’t your mate. You started the talking, stop hiding behind the belt, man up rather than shout man down.”

“Keep your belt nice and cosy, come see me at 154. I won’t take your belt, just your 0. Then your heart.”

‘The Truth’ Errol Spence Jr is back in the ring on June 16th in his hometown of Texas. He will make a mandatory defence of his IBF welterweight title against Carlos Ocampo.
