Chris Eubank Jr will defend his IBO title in two weeks time at The SSE Arena in Wembley against Arthur Abraham. The experienced Armenian-German started his career way back in 2003 and in 53 fights he has been only stopped once during his career.
The defending champion is confident in his power despite the fact that Abraham can take a shot. Eubank Jr promises to shut the lights.
“I think Arthur Abraham has a great chin as he has shown on numerous occasions. But I’m going there to knock him out and knock him out cold,” said Eubank in an interview with worldboxingnews.com
It’s no secret that youth is on Eubank’s side. His challenger is 37-years old and has never taken significant time off from boxing. There’s a lot of mileage on Abraham’s body and Eubank Jr knows this.
“Speed kills in this game and I’m only getting faster and hitting harder. I know I have the game plan and overall speed to finish Abraham off early.”
Eubank Jr vows that he will only hunt for the knockout. He’s going to do everything in his power to give his home crowd a solid stoppage win.
“I’m going absolutely all out to KO. The crowd on the night are in for a treat. I’m going to take it all out on Abraham.”
