Fighters Reacts To Devin Haney’s Domination Of Regis Prograis: “Complete Shut Out”

Devin Haney became a two-weight world champion in style, dropping, staggering and decisioning Regis Prograis with the scores 120-107 across the board.

Haney’s maiden fight at 140lbs saw him do everything fans expected and more – a stellar jab allowing him to let off considered combinations that took their toll on ‘Rougarou.’

Prograis – who put his WBC Super-Lightweight World title on the line – and his claims that Haney had no power to worry about were proven wrong. The new weight class seemed to add more pop and sting to the former undisputed lightweight champion’s shots, as proven by a knockdown in round three and a heavy shot in the sixth that wobbled Prograis.

The masterclass by the 25-year-old earned the respect of Prograis, who settled the beef post-fight by praising his opponent’s skills, and his other rivals were impressed too.
