Floyd Mayweather is heading back to the ring next month in another exhibition bout.
The 45-year-old former multi-weight world champion is set for action on September 25 in Japan.
Mayweather, who hung up the gloves in 2017, recently said that his best investment as a professional was buying himself out of a contract that allowed him to earn plenty of cash along the way.
He is set to earn a lot more when he faces MMA fighter and YouTuber Mikuru Asakura at the Super Arena in Saitama.

This will be Mayweather’s second appearance in the Japanese-based promotion after he previously fought there in 2018 when he demolished Tenshin Nasukawa inside the first round.
After that, ‘Money’ engaged in a lucrative eight-round exhibition against social influencer turned boxing enthusiast Logan Paul as part of a Showtime pay-per-view that ended up as one of the biggest events in 2021.
And now, Mayweather faces Asakura, who comes into the exhibition bout with a 16-3 record with one no-contest in his mixed martial arts career, in what will be the Japanese’s first boxing bout.
Asakura has a following on YouTube of over 2.7million followers, andrecently shared a video titled: ‘Manny Pacquiao Teaches Mikuru Asakura How to Beat Mayweather.’
Mayweather, who holds a 50-0 pro record in boxing, took on Pacquiao, 43, in May 2015 for the WBA Super, WBC and WBO world welterweight titles at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and hasn’t been in the ring in a professional capacity since stopping MMA star Conor McGregor inside 10 rounds back in September five years ago.
McGregor, who has not fought in almost a year since suffering a horrific broken leg in his defeat to Dustin Poirier, shared a picture of his clash with Mayweather on Instagram in June — which increased speculation that they could square off one more time — and there had been reports earlier this year that Mayweather and McGregor had been discussing a rematch.
