“2018 – Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, MMA, what are the odds?” said Mayweather on the video.
Should Mayweather actually step inside a UFC cage, his most logical opponent would Conor McGregor who Floyd beat in August in a boxing ring via 10th round TKO.
The two have been trading blows on social media lately and it has been confirmed by UFC officials that Floyd is legitimately interested in a mixed martial arts bout.
UFC President Dana White has mentioned it publically that McGregor is really eager about a rematch against ‘Money’
“Conor wants that fight again really bad. I told Conor what you did was amazing. I was sitting there with my partner Lorenzo [Fertitta] and I kept saying, ‘Oh my god, we found this kid in Ireland four years ago. He’s going into the sixth round with Floyd Mayweather. He’s going into the seventh round with Floyd Mayweather.’
“He did extremely well, but Conor was not happy with his performance and obviously Conor, truly he believed he was going to win that fight,” said White on FS 1 Sports Radio.
Expect more MMA related teasers and hints from Mayweather in the coming weeks.
