The Welshman walks away from the sport having won 28 fights, lost 4 with 9 wins inside the distance.
The 35-year-old had his last fight in Argentina losing to Gustavo Lemos in an IBF lightweight title final eliminator. After a positive start Lemos began closing the distance and his unrelenting aggression and power ended the fight in the 5 th round.

Today, on social media, Selby announced his decision to bring the curtain down on a 14-year professional career.
“Welsh, Celtic, British, Commonwealth, European & IBF World champion.
“I exit the ring with no regrets, happy, healthy and my family financially secure.
“Thank you for all your support.”
