During the summer ‘the Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury announced his official retirement from professional boxing through a social media post.

But many, including trainer Peter Fury, Hughie Fury, and Billy Joe Saunders, believe that the former heavyweight champion will return boxing once all I said and done with the British Boxing Board of Control.
Promoter Frank Warren shares the latest in an interview with IFL.tv.
“Still waiting for this hearing aren’t they? It’s supposed to be in October but they haven’t set a date yet. It’s all up in the air. It will be interesting to see what happens,” said Warren.
There has been talk about Fury returning to boxing if he gets his official license back from the board. Fury was stripped of all his belts and got his license taken away after he admitted cocaine use and tested positive for a banned substance.
“It’s dreadful what’s happened to him. He’s not in a position where he can go and get a living without being proven of doing anything wrong. In issues like this, whether it be football or anything else, it would have been decided like that. Had the hearing, got in on and done it,” commented the promoter.
Warren thinks that the delay in the hearing and the fact that Tyson hasn’t even reached 30 yet is wrong since Fury was on top of the heavyweight division.
“It’s two years now he’s been out of the ring. He’s in his prime and it’s wrong. If he’s done something wrong, you gotta pay the price,” he told.
With heavyweight division booming thanks to the likes of Anthony Joshua, Joseph Parker, and Deontay Wilder, Warren is unhappy that the lineal heavyweight champion is not being talked about.
“He should be in the mix. I’m looking at these guys… the money they’re making, God bless ’em, good luck to them, but that should be him. It’s his title. He won that title. This is totally wrong what’s going on,” summarised Warren.
Fury last fought against Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015. He shocked the world by easily outboxing the heavyweight great and took all of the Ukrainian’s belts via unanimous decision.
