# Frank Warren Provides Promising Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Update

Frank Warren has spoken out about a potential clash between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury – and is confident fans will see the fight in 2023.

In an interview with [IFL TV](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubqAkZf1TPg&t=1711s), Warren was bullish when asked whether a fight with Paul, which would be a career high payday for Fury, was still on the cards.

> “Both sides are really eager to making it \[Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury\] happen and I don’t think we’re far off getting it on. I think we’re quite close to making it happen.”
>
> “It’s a life changing money fight for him and obviously he wants it. It was on, then he couldn’t get into the States which was a problem. But we’ll get it on, we’re really determined to make it happen.”
>
> “All sides are really good on getting it over the line – we will get it over the line.”

Fury has actually had to withdraw on two occasions from scheduled fights with Paul, a broken rib ruling him out initially before the issues he had travelling to America mentioned by Warren.

The former Love Island star was last in a ring in November on the Floyd Mayweather vs Deji undercard in Dubai.

Despite being initially due to face Paul Bamba in a professional contest, the fight was pulled due to disagreements over weight and Fury faced Rolly Lambert in an exhibition instead.

As for Jake Paul, in October [he secured arguably the most impressive win of his foray into professional boxing thus far, outpointing in UFC legend Anderson Silva](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/jake-paul-ambitious-call-out/) in Glendale, Arizona.

If ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘TNT’ are to lock horns next, reports suggest the contest would be likely to take place in the United Kingdom.
